Good afternoon, Tropical Storm Gonzalo formed west of the Leeward Islands and is moving westerly at 10mph with winds at 40mph. This general motion is expected to continue through Tuesday. On the forecast track Gonzalo is expected to move through the Leeward Islands by early Monday morning. Swells generated by the Gonzalo will affect from Dominica northward to British & US Virgin Islands which are likely to cause life-threatening and rip current conditions. The Federation of St. Kitts-Nevis is under tropical storm warning. (nhc.noaa.gov)
