Sorry for the late report My old man and myself hit the nerange river friday night in search of some elbow slappers ( whiting ) we arrived at our spot 1hr before tide and deployed our baits. It wasnt long before the fish started coming on board. Bait of choice was mud worms. We fished through the high and left an hour into the run out. We ended up with 13 good fish, biggest going 42cm and my p.b for whiting. As it gets hotter, these quality fish will become easier to catch. Find a nice sand bank wth deep water around it and you should be in with a chance.
