Good evening, Conditions will remain generally cloudy this evening across much of the country, with patchy light rain and drizzle continuing to affecting some western areas. Across eastern areas conditions will tend to be drier and one or two sunny spells may break through at times, especially across parts of eastern Scotland & NE England. Conditions will also remain generally dry across southern and eastern areas of England, with the odd sunny spell not ruled out. Overnight it turns windy across Scotland, NI and northernmost areas of England, with W/SW’ly gusts of up to 60 mph possible in exposed regions of northern Scotland. Along with the windy conditions we have a weather front passing through, which will bring a band of rain and squally conditions for a time. Elsewhere across the UK, conditions will remain generally cloudy with patchy light rain and drizzle still possible across some western areas. Temperatures will range from 11°c – 16°c, however in some eastern areas of England conditions will feel rather mild. Tomorrow in brief: The weather front across northern areas will continue southwards, weakening as it does so. This is likely to keep central and southern areas rather cloudy through the course of Friday. In behind the front across N England, NI and Scotland, conditions will be much brighter with plenty of sunny spells, although one or two isolated showers can’t be ruled out, particularly in Scotland. Temperatures will range from 15°c – 20°c for the southern half of the UK, however, across the northern half it will feel much fresher with temperatures ranging from 9°c – 14°c.
