Good evening, Tonight I have the honour of bringing to you an article written by the renowned, and highly respected, modern vampire sub-culture leader Lady CG of Smoke and Mirrors. The topic is not a new one, indeed, many may well recall past writings of a lady who went by the name of The Infamous CJ, the topic may well arouse the same discussions and tit-for-tat contests that often go hand- in-hand with such things in the modern sub-culture but it also marks a return to a question that goes much deeper than it seems at first glance. On January 1, 1863 the President of the United States, Abraham Lincoln, issued The Emancipation Proclamation that was aimed at all of the areas in rebellion during the Civil War. It proclaimed the freedom of slaves in the eleven states that were still in rebellion.
