Good morning! How are you doing there dear FB Friend? Its been 12 days since Typhoon Yolanda struck the country, and its heart-warming to see many people still doing what they can to help reach out to the survivors. It doesnt seem the relief efforts will be slowing down soon and thats great news, right? We will get through this as a nation - with the help of friends overseas as well. Some have said our country will never be the same again after this. Well, its true. Healing will take time and even then, things will never be as they used to be. But, no matter how hard-pressed we may be, we never lose hope. Heres a comforting Psalm for us, O Lord, you have searched me and known me! You know when I sit down and when I rise up; you discern my thoughts from afar. You search out my path and my lying down and are acquainted with all my ways. Even before a word is on my tongue, behold, O Lord, you know it altogether. You hem me in, behind and before, and lay your hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high; I cannot attain it. Where shall I go from your Spirit? Or where shall I flee from your presence? [Psalm 139:1-7] Isnt it a comfort to know that even it seems no one knows and sees what you and I go through, God does? May the assurance of His presence with you today bring your heart strength and comfort to face the challenges ahead. :)
