Kashmir Shuts Against Civilian Killings In Sumbal. SRINAGAR Shops, schools and offices in Srinagar, and the surrounding areas remained shut on Monday. The reports of a complete shutdown have also reached from other district headquarters. According to reports private transport is plying while as public transport is off the roads. Strike was called by Separatists to protest Sunday’s killing of two youngpersons, including a student, by the army. A case of murder was filed against the army by the police in Bandipora district where the incident took place. The army also has begun an inquiry and expressed regret. Massive protests broke out on Sunday in the wake of the killing of Irfan Nabi, a Class XII student, and Tariq Ahmad, another young student.
