Good morning! It is chilly out there so bundle up if you are heading out this morning. Temps are in the upper 30s to around 40, but still breezy out there so wind chill values are right around freezing. Plenty of sun this afternoon which will be nice, but we stay cool with highs only in the mid 40s. 45-47 across the area. Winds will start to calm down later today and that will be key for temps. We... have a Hard Freeze Warning in effect for the north shore and southern MS tonight, with a Freeze Warning in effect for the south shore. Look for lows tonight in the low to mid 20s on the north shore, with upper 20s to low 30s on the south shore. New Orleans itself probably stays just above freezing, but south of I-10 it will be below. So protect the plants across the area, and youll want to cover the pipes on the north shore for tonight.-Hank
