Good morning; Many of you have been following me through my journey in conquering cancer. I would like to thank all of you for your support, prayers and well wishes. Nothing means more to me then the messages I have received from all of you. I am sharing my journey not to get attention or for people to feel sorry for me. My inside message to all is to get checked and continue to get checked. There is nothing worse in letting it grow until it is too late. Tomorrow would have been my moms 70th birthday. Her life was cut short ten years ago due to Melanoma which wasnt detected until it was terminal. There is nothing scarier then the nurse calls you up on your way home from work to tell you that your biopsies came back positive for cancer. Though it is a minor form of cancer but with anything else it can become worse. I am going through this (at times painful) journey for my kids. I want to be around to walk Melanie down the aisle on her wedding day, and to be able to take John Michael to his first Happy Hour and make him drive. I have close friends that have passed that from this evil disease: Mom, Amber Roderick, Nancy Luckey and Nester Fedalizo . I think of them as I go through this. I have the attitude of not letting this get the better of me and live life to the fullest. There are two people that come to my mind that that I look towards for inspiration for never giving up. Young Jake Tarin who is going through his medical challenges but still remains upbeat determined to conquer. Stevie DuPin is another great inspiration. He conquered cancer and is sharing his story and he tells me that there is a life after cancer. The journey continues, two more procedures and done. Thank you for your continued support and prayers.
