Good morning (N America) afternoon (UK) evening (eastern - TopicsExpress

Good morning (N America) afternoon (UK) evening (eastern Europe)... I have a request for advice from any and all of you. I am a bass-baritone (more baritone than bass) singing professionally for longer than I care to admit... and while I am getting a lot of roles in operas this season (Oroveso, Claudius, Speaker, Michele, Benoit/Alcindoro, Araspe, Melchior) and I have had great times singing in Italy, I want to start to spend more time in England. I am willing to send my resume and sound bytes out to anyone who requests, and am willing to come over in December/January for live auditions (ideally many) for future casting... I am also willing to relocate for periods up to three months as required for rehearsals etc. How can I make this happen? I am always seeing roles come up on fairly short notice - roles I have either done or want to do - and the challenge there is to be heard without a live audition and be seriously considered. As well on short notice with all my current commitments it would be close to impossible to commit to more than two weeks. Any advice and help to facilitate this would be appreciated. I am willing believe it or not to sing for room and board, or honorarium... Just want to broaden my experiences and sing with some new people. Sincere thanks to all. Feel free to contact me privately as well. FYI Other recent roles include Raimondo (Lucia) Nourabad (Pearlfishers) Albert (Werther) Sharpless (Butterfly) Commendatore (Don Giovanni) Bartolo (Marriage of Figaro) Melisso (Alcina) Hidraot (Armide)...
