Good morning, Psalm 107:1, 31, 43 NIV Give thanks to the Lord , for he is good; his love endures forever. Let them give thanks to the Lord for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for mankind. Let the one who is wise heed these things and ponder the loving deeds of the Lord. This chapter is a very beautiful one, if you have time please kindly go through the whole chapter. There are sometimes that we take the love and mercies of God for granted and pride starts to come in. Because of His love he allows us to be tried just to remind us that its thru His mercies not by our power and we can run back to Him. Sometimes also we feel so comfortable that we tend to forget God and His laws and we become careless about our christianity. Then also He allows us to be tried just to help bring us back to the paths of righteousness. All these he does because He loves us. Thats why Solomon who was the wisest man that ever lived looked back at the deeds of God in his life and testified about the love of God saying: Proverbs 3:11-12 NIV My son, do not despise the Lord ’s discipline, and do not resent his rebuke, because the Lord disciplines those he loves, as a father the son he delights in. I say give thanks in any situation you find yourself because even when God disciplines His love endures. Thats why its said in Romans 8:28 NKJV And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
