Good morning! Today starts a few days of autumnal weather. Post frontal high pressure will continue to build southeastward across the Ohio Valley today. It is a much drier and cooler airmass and will result in a definite September-like feel. Optimistically I am calling for partly cloudy (more sun than clouds) for today, but it might not be that easy to get rid of a lot of the cloud cover. With a cooler north flow and more lingering clouds highs today may be as much as ten degrees below average (85 for Columbus). Skies will clear tonight resulting in more readings ten degrees below seasonal averages (66 for Columbus). With high pressure centered over the region temperatures will start to rebound a little tomorrow. High pressure slides east on Friday and another cold front moves in Friday night and Saturday which will trigger more thunderstorms. I’ll post my complete Storm Team 4 forecast at nbc4i.
