Good morning! With the cold front in the neighborhood of the Ohio River most showers and thunderstorms have exited Central Ohio. The drier air is lagging behind, like always, so there will be some scattered or isolated light rain and sprinkles lingering this morning…especially in southern Ohio It will be mostly cloudy this morning and the sky will be slow to clear this afternoon. As a result daytime highs will be in the low 80s (after yesterday’s steamy 88), but it will be considerably less humid by evening. Surface high pressure will clear the sky tonight and temps will drop into the 50s. Highs rebound back into the low to mid-80s this weekend and that starts a warming trend. Next week will feel like real summer, hot and muggy. A frontal system out of the Great Lakes will add some pop-up thunderstorms to the mix Tuesday and Wednesday.
