Good morning all, Again, thank you for supporting my idea! Please continue to vote as round 2 starts today at noon, I still need your votes. I could move on if I get more votes than the 1st round. Our public schools are becoming run down and no funds have been allocated by the Ontario Provincial Government this year to maintain them as well as pushing back the deadline for older buildings to be accessible to the disabled by 2025. My idea is to see Don View Middle School become accessible to the physically disabled and have a maintenance program. Many of the Schools in the TDSB are not accessible which creates a barrier for parents and children whom may have some type of mobility issue. All our children deserve a safe school environment that allows them to take full advantage of the privilege of being educated in Canada. This can only happen through our community. There must be a cost effective way to maintain our schools. Not only is there a barrier there for the disabled but for all our children for a safe environment to be educated in. Have a great week!
