Good morning, everyone It is truly a blessed day here at the Humphrey house---as it is every day that we are alive and able to motivate! Its too early for the sun to be up and I havent seen the weather for several days! We finally got some much needed rain over in the afternoon yesterday! Yesterday was an early start for both of us. Allen woke the boys around 6:00 so they could go to Neuse Sport Shop for some breakfast and to do men things. I graciously declined my invitation and got on to things I needed to do. First off, I posted here. My internet kept going down all day yesterday. So I swept and fed and watered the cats and dogs. Then my sister-in-law called to update us on one of their cousins that is very ill and she is staying with her at the moment. Allen and the boys return and Allen has some paperwork that needs stamps to be mailed so he brings them to me. Next I clean and fill my bird baths and water my plants. I straighten up my house as it looks like a tornado has come through it. Then on to Sues to feed her cats and pick her peppers. I immediately soak the peppers in 11.5 acidic water to rid them of pesticides. Then I remove all my air conditioner filters so I can wash them. Then I fix a couple of get well cards for some friends and add some new addresses to my address books! Then Allen and the boys take the weed eaters and some corn and go to Kansas to clear out a place for them to bow hunt. I change our bed linens and put on our new microfiber sheets. Put the comforter and sheets in the washing machine. The boys and Allen return for some lunch. The lady wanting the mattress that Sue has for sale called earlier and we set a time to meet. She called back to say she was on her way when I was dead heading my deck plants. Then I heard it thunder and was about to call her back when she came to the back door. It was raining just a little bit when they got to my house, but the bottom fell out on the way to Sues. Sue already had a lake in her back yard! We decided against getting the mattress til later this week! Meanwhile, Allen was trying to beat the rain and mow out a little spot for the boys. Needless to say, we both got soaked during our little adventures!!!!! He said that it hailed on him right outside of Dover when he was coming home. We both had to change clothes. I drained the peppers and cut the stems and ends off and put them in Kangen water to soak. The internet was still not up so I reset my modem and we got it back for a while. I was washing my AC filters when Alvin and Denise came for a visit. After they left, I folded my sheets and put the comforter back on our bed. Fixed us a little supper and then I did my work on the computer. It was early, but Allen was already asleep so I played solitaire for a while. Then cleaned up the kitchen. I called it a night about 12:00. Nuff rambling for today, huh?????????????? I wish you ALL a blessed day and nite!!!!!!!!!!! Bye now!! See ya!!
