Good morning everyone! Thank you for all the well wishes yesterday!! I am just in Awe of the country out here and the storms, WOW!! while we kept a respectable distance from them there were times both Jeff and I wanted to go in closer for a look. The Build up and structure we saw is a warm up for the main show today!! Here are a few photos from yesterday. We had intended posting these live from the chase but the internet, haha, should I say, what internet!! these are mostly taken around Bollon West Of St George. Todays Chase Plan. CHASE DAY 2: STORM OUTBREAK, HEADS UP QLD, NSW AND VICTORIA TODAY! *Share and Tag to family and friends!* •Dot for news feed! •FORECAST: A strong surface trough lies over eastern inland Australia from Longreach to Cunnamulla in QLD, Bourke to Hay in NSW, and north central VIC areas. •SEVERE storms are a HIGH RISK anywhere near and to the East of this trough with Damaging Winds, Large Hail, Heavy Rainfall and Frequent Lightning Strikes •SUPERCELL storms are a medium risk today, with a focus over Southern inland NSW. •WATCH the radar, LISTEN for warnings, PREPARE now. Images 1 and 2: High instability levels in dark blue and purple. Image 3: Storm probabilities chart at 4pm. •CHASE DETALS: We are holding our position at St George and will head west towards Cunnmulla.
