Good morning ! latin music, just assisted to a great concert yesterday, one can easily feel the warmth of that places between the notes and rythms, an in this famous song also a certain melancholy.. This is from the beautiful story of the Buena Vista Social Club: this is the name of an important music club in Cuba where great cuban artists used to play their music, but closed and forgotten after the 1959 forcedly to the new social tendencies that wanted to cancel the past. In 1996 (40 years later!), a musician wanted to rejoin all the old stars in a marvelous band named Afro-Cuban All Stars and produced an album, that gain success again to them! And a day Wim Wenders decided to produce a movie to tell to the world this story :-)
