Good morning once again everyone, All forecasts/graphics were updated at 330AM 1/26/15. It will be slippery today in eastern Pa and the northern two thirds of NJ but the primary impact of this storm is tonight and Tuesday morning! In our forecaster estimation, for greatest safety, travel is not recommended between 9 PM tonight and 9 AM Tuesday along the Interstate 95 corridor from near Philadelphia northeastward to New York City and eastward to our NJ shores. Powdery wind blown snow will increase dramatically making travel much more difficult. Snowfall rates from near Cherry Hill and Philadelphia northward will increase to near 1 inch per hour for several hours while closer to New York, 2 to 4 inch per hour accumulations are expected tonight, especially in Monmouth and Ocean counties.
