Good morning to you my caring Facebook friends who I am fortunate to have. I hope you are getting ready to have a great weekend. I would like to remind everyone that, unfortunately, I will not be able to perform my annual Kelleys Island, Oh shows at the West Bay Inn this weekend Sat and Sun. Ill sure miss that beautiful island sunset. I have also had to cancel/reschedule a performance this evening at the Lakeside Yacht Club in Cleveland, Oh. Very sorry folks. I have two Dr. appointments scheduled at the Cleveland Clinic today. Some good news....I believe they are taking out the IV/Pic line and taking me off the 24 hour pump of antibiotics today. A week early!!!!! Things are looking up. They have backed off more meds and eye drops (still on plenty of both) and my sugar levels are being more agreeable. Still using the insulin but small doses. And I think I might be seeing just a little more today. They tell me that I will be seeing them for a few months but the focus will be on repairing the eye damage depending on how well the sight comes back. We are not sure yet. Im just happy to be going in the right direction. The sight in the right will be what it will be. Im starting to slowly feel human and think a bit more clearly. Barring any unforeseen setbacks I am looking forward to returning to my home at the Round House Bar, Put-In-Bay, South Bass Island, Oh. for shows Labor Day Weekend next Fri. Sat & Sun. The length of the shows will depend on how Im feeling. Paula, the GM, and the Round House family kindly said they just want me to get better and to perform as long as I feel I can. Thank you. Go out and enjoy a beautiful weekend. If your in the Lake Erie Islands area stop by the Round House at Put-In-Bay and have one for me....I hope to see you soon.
