Good news. I went to the doctor about my ears and hearing today. My better ear is the left one and it turns out the ear drum was completely occluded by a huge piece of ear wax that had the texture of a small rock. My left ear has been out of service since last week and I have been relying on my right ear which was impaired in certain voice ranges and volumes by vertigo a decade ago. It took the doctor over an hour with his Water-Pik-for-Ears to excavate an opening and clear the canal. Thanks for prayers and concern. I am much relieved because I was having a horrible time with high small voices and was being overwhelmed by ambient noise. All is now well!
