Good night FBkers. Got this fricken cold, all congested and hard time breathe got my asthma pump ready. puff puff away. Funny thing is I am using a natural remedy to help me breathe better and help my cough. and I can promise and bet money on it that it works. and guess who taught me this remedy, my auntie that went to heaven today. I been doin it for years. When ever we started a cold she would make us hot water and 2 tablespoons of salt and told us to gargle some and spit it out. then swallow just a little bit, It works. Its funny how we take the ones we love for granted and when their gone we really feel the loss. Another thing she used to teach me is patience and forgiveness. When I was younger I had a short fuse, like 0 to ten in 60 seconds, she used to tell me why are you so mad? with a sweet and patient voice, She use to say slow down and breathe, now tell me why are you so mad. I used to say I dunno! I just get so mad! Shed say Marky, you need to learn how to forgive and forget. I used to say but auntie, everybody always says to forgive but dont forget. Shed say how can you forgive if you cannot forget? If you cannot forget than you dont truly forgive in your heart! I promise that I hold her advice dear to my heart! So much so, that I teach my kids/homeschool students how to forgive. Its in their bible studies curriculum. She was a wise woman.I will always be thankful to GOD for her. She suffered much physical pain from severe epilepsy and emotional pain. But never once complained. We must teach our kids the meaning of Christs forgiveness and teach them how to forgive ourselves and forgive others then forget, Before we meet our maker. I am blessed to have my aunt teach me.
