Good summary about the kinds of policies that can begin to reverse poverty. Their general support for policies like these is a key reason I do volunteer work in the coordinated campaign for our mainstream Democratic candidates. But there is nothing “normal” or inevitable about more than 45 million Americans living in poverty. It is the direct result of policy choices.
