Good thoughts needed. Our boy Blaze was rescued from auction in June; he is a super sweet big guy thats been keeping us on our toes. His legs cant decide from one minute to the next: sound, lame, sound, lame... Just like taking a rattling car to the shop only to have it run fine, the second we call the vet out Blaze says: Lameness? What lameness! Im sound as can be! And with the departure of the vet, so goes the soundness and the lameness returns. Morning hes fine and by afternoon hes bobbing his head and lame again. We are working closely with the vet to monitor and try to determine the source but its proving to be quite the puzzle. Initial x-rays have already ruled out laminitis. We are videoing his good and bad moments for documentation. No matter what it is, were going to get to the bottom of this and get Blaze sound. Hang on, Blaze! Alright horse experts: any guesses?
