And he said, I am Joseph your brother, whom ye sold into Egypt. Now therefore be not grieved, nor angry with yourselves, that ye sold me hither: for God did send me before you to preserve life. {Genesis 45:4-5 KJV} YOU WILL LIVE TO PRESERVE LIFE: When the brothers of Joseph sold him out to unknown merchants traveling to Egypt, little did they expect that he would survive. They concocted the story of the likelihood that wild animals could have killed him, and they conspired to sell that story to their father. They wanted Joseph out of the way because of the dreams he had of greatness ahead of him, and because he was the fathers favorite son. They believed that they have destroyed Joseph along with his (disrespectful) dreams. Josephs brothers were satisfied that Joseph is gone for good, dead and buried. Pride and envy had pushed them to destroy the life of their young brother. But little did the brothers know that they were pushing Joseph into the process that will catapult him into divine fulfillment and destiny! It is also true today, that you have been pushed out of your place of hope, out of your employment, marital home, family and inheritance; you have been frustrated out of your ministry, sporting arena, business or from a flourishing career with the intent to bring you down, to bring shame to you and to crush the divine plans that the Lord God has put in place for you. Some have conspired to make sure that you do not attain your peak in your chosen career, and because you seem to know much about your environment, and to curry greater favor from your superiors, your colleagues, friends and even relations have come together to push you out of the system. And in doing this, they believe that they have destroyed and sealed your future. To some of you, your colleagues and relations are currently working and scheming to see to your downfall by all means. Because you seem to be resilient in life, and because you appear to be determined to succeed despite all the hardship you have encountered on the way, some people want to ensure that you do not graduate or even get to the university, polytechnic or college of education at all. For some of you, your guardians and step-parents are looking for ways to retard your growth in all respects, and to replace your destiny with that of their biological siblings. They are therefore not keen about your progress, and are conspiring to confuse you and send you to the wrong direction. Some of your peers are not telling you the truth about their life and business, and some who pretend to admire you, are actually looking for how to bring you down. Others bubbling with life and a wonderful destiny, have been programmed to die through food and drink poisoning because of domestic rivalry and envy. Your rapid progress in all your endeavour has become the source of envy and conflict between you, your relations and friends. But know this today: God is on your side. And if God be on your side, who can oppose you? This is the prophetic message for you today: whatever evil scheme that has been put in place to destroy you and your future, shall not only fail, but will be the divine springboard that will lift you into the place of fulfillment and destiny according to the will of the Almighty God. If you are passing (or have passed) through difficult situations, look carefully for the will of God in all of them. God is not man that he should lie: what he says he will do, that will he do. Because God has destined you for greatness, you will encounter difficulties, but you will end up like Joseph did: at the very location and position of destiny that God had planned from the beginning. Those working tirelessly to destroy your future shall fail. Others, by their evil plans and actions, will help you to get to your destiny at the most appropriate time. Some that are working against you today, will indeed be saved and delivered from sickness, poverty and death by you. You will live and prosper to preserve life, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen!
