Goodafternoon kings and queens of Interact District 5170. I would like to formally thank each and every one of you for traveling from the many kingdoms of our district to join together for Area 2s Charity Dinner: Bedtime Stories. My overwhelming amount of feels that I had before, during, after, and till now is full of such love, gratitude, appreciation, and even more burning passion for Interact and service. Seeing all of you having such a magical evening while helping raise funds for The Answer is the Sun, was the most beautiful sight in the whole entire world. This was honestly one of the MOST amazing experiences of not only my Interact career, but my life. This event, from the hours of working to celebrating at the end, every aspect about this dinner has made the word perfection an understatement. I really want to thank all of you and show my deep appreciation for all that you do in your club,schools,community & the world. You all mean so incredibly much to me, and my heart goes out to each and every one of you. As a senior, it hurts to know that I will depart from the most phenomenal family out there, but Interact District 5170 will forever take a huge part of my heart. BUT, that does not mean that my service will end here. In order for this to be successful, the Area 2 Officers & Interactors have worked LONG weeks, days, and hours on every decoration, the food, the logistics, planning, and they all executed every task and responsibility to the best of their ability, and their hard work really showed. Because of them, this dinner was like magic before my eyes. They brought Disneyland to Area 2 and have constantly made me feel so blessed. Their talents, skills, and wonderful leadership really helped put everything together, and I appreciate them so much. Dreams do come true and my dream came true, after seeing all of you at our charity dinner. I sincerely have so much love for Interact and for all of you, and thank you for the unconditional love and support. To me, the happiest place on Earth is in Interact District 5170.
