Goooooooood morning and todays Sunday School lesson title is, How Quickly People Change. Everybody has known someone who got a certain job or promotion, married into a certain family, or got a certain recognition or award, and suddenly changed in their behavior and attitude toward others. And that change wasnt for the better. Theres a real danger in being successful and moving up, that as we do, we allow the wrong kind of attitudes and actions to rise up in us. When Saul was first called to be king, we find a humble young guy who actually hid rather than accept this great honor. Yet in a short time, we see he quickly changed as he became more powerful and had more influence, and he allowed pride and jealousy to rise up in him, and it cost him his reign and heritage. So as we move up, lets make sure we allow that which is good and righteous to rise up in us. We all change, lets just make sure to change for the better and for Gods glory. Have a God filled day everyone!
