Got a lawn riddled with moles? We do, and it isnt a big lawn, but it is a mess. Just spent all morning researching a way to get rid of them without toxic chemicals. Here is what I found out. They are our allies, no really! They are doing us a favor by eating the grubs that are eating our lawns, huh. Want more friends? I do, so I ordered some Nematodes. They are parasites that feed on grubs and other pests like: ants, ticks, web worm, cut worms, etc. And you can specialize the kind of Nematode you actually need. There are toxic chemicals that grubs, like Sevin, but they also kill everything, good bugs too (there are good bugs, otherwise wed be up to our armpits in half rotten dead things.) So, kill the food that moles eat, and the moles go away. No chemicals, no murdering moles, save your lawn from grubs. You can also make or purchase a castor oil solution to drive the moles away (if you live in a suburb, that may not be such a neighborly idea. We live in the woods.)
