Got my Gsx-r started up. The old motor sitting on the ground beaten and bloodied. Methinks my phone is sabotaged, being folks are telling me the caller id sez Im calling from Michigan(?) and also because whenever the phone gets weird all business calls stop. I bet they cloned it with old lost sim cards-but the point is theres no cash for motorbike stuff. So after pulling out some old rusty motors, Ive got a donated katana 600 bottom end, with 1986 Gsx-r 750 cylinders with a ported 750 head with capacitor 14mm Pulstar spark plugs. 4 open header tubes for exhaust. 93 1100 ignition, dyna coils, and 40 mm bored and polished carbs with 4 inch intakes. Kat intake gixxer exhaust cams...Kal Gard gear kote on the pistons with no oil control rings.Just started it in the garage and Im pretty sure the neighbors could hear it with the door closed. With a 60 hp shot of nitrous it might make the same 1/8 mile mph the stock 1100 motor did..100 mph.although the 1100 did it in 2nd gear, with hydrazine that mile an hour might come up 10 or 20 mph on a 600 crank..hope itll get me to DMV before February for the Mercury registration...Need top fuel ear plugs for that, though-usually I run plugs, muffs, and a helmet, with my ears ring for a couple hours after with these little motors amped up...time for bed... https://youtube/watch?v=s173dWxzAw0
