Got my old 5x4 layout out of the shed to see what it will take for a makeover. Took all off what I could then blew it down with compressed air then sucked up any bits left. All the trees will need redoing and one tunnel will need to be glued and looks like a piece of track will need changing. Forgot there was a controller still on it but checks out ok, it was for the small yard at the top. Will need to redo the slide in pannel as the Altas switches are all rusty and a couple were shorted out anyway as they burnt out about 5 point motors. As it was a budget build I just used budget controllers but it all worked fine even at all day train shows. I built it as a rehab project after twisting my spine in 1995. Now that I have the bug again I hope I get another 20 years pleasure out of it.
