Got to thinking. The devil then often uses the flesh to arouse our consent. But he always entices by turning temptations into some kind of thoughts first. We should know how to guard our thoughts. ‘...bringing every thought into captivity’ (2Cor.10:3-5). Let’s bring our mind under the Spirit of self control (a fruit of the Spirit) taking authority over our mind by directing it to Bible truths! We can choose to ignore it – but the cost is enormous. It’s not worth damaging our God relationship.
