Gotta love my wife! I just finished my practicum on Friday for my 300 level class at the The Kingdom Advancement Center (KAC). Our instructor felt the need to remind the class that, contrary to popular belief, the goal of the practicum is not to haze us but to train us to become spiritual authorities on any given subject matter that we chose to research. Since I’m the only one to finish at this point, someone reminded him that I was Greek (thereby making me immune?!!) which then caused me to remind the class that there was another person initiated into a black fraternity in the room (the other “shall forever remain nameless” – I’m not trying to throw salt!) as well. My wife, in RARE form and moment, retorted (paraphrasing) “Yeah, but that/he doesn’t count!” Quiana is neither Greek nor has she ever aspired to be but she took it there AND took me back at the same time! I felt like I was back in college AND married at the same time!
