Governor Patrick Khaemba of Trans Nzoia County, has launched a public forum every Wednesday where residents will raise issues affecting them. This is a bold & positive move which will enhance transparency & public participation in line with the constitution. All the 47 Counties should move with speed & create such forums for smooth running of their governments. Residents should demand establishment of this forums if their Governors dont act promptly. We can even perfect it further by having one or two CECs per session for detailed information & possible solutions. A time table for the same be put on public notice board for residents to prepare.
