The project will be a combination of field and greenhouse studies aimed at remediating unfavorable soil conditions and identifying adapted species suitable for restoration of disturbed areas. The successful candidate will pursue a MS degree in Range and Wildlife Management with the Caesar Kleberg Wildlife Research Institute, Texas A&M University-Kingsville. Qualifications B.S. in rangeland ecology, plant ecology, or closely related field. A strong work ethic, good verbal and written communication skills, ability to work independently and as a productive member of a research team, and ability to work under adverse field conditions (hot and isolated environment) are essential.
