Grandmother – A grandmother is one that loves you no matter what. One you can call upon and she will do her best to be there for you. She loves you when you mess up and make mistakes. She loves you when you’re an angel or even when you act like the devil. She will sit with you forever no matter what. She loves you, hugs you, holds you, cares for you, listens to you, gives advice to you, helps you out no matter what or just simply sit in quiet and watch you cry. She will make sure you have food to eat. A place to stay. She will listen to you tell her some of the best stories she has no clue what you are talking about. She will always call you on your birthday to say she loves you. She may not have all the money in the world but she what she gives is her unconditional love. She will talk about you, brag about you cause to her, you are special. She didn’t miss many of my games growing up. She loved to watch me play ball. I went to visit her every week and sit for hours. I would buy her supper and go sit and eat with her. She loved her Oakland Raiders football. I think she had a crush on Al Davis, I remember her telling me that. She loved Chinese food and the Golden Dragon that was on Ash Street in Goldsboro. When Jaime and I were dating and just got married we would go eat in Goldsboro at Fuji and take her some to eat and just sit for hours talking. Today makes 9 years since my grandmother left this cruel world. It’s hard to believe it has been that long. I miss her every day. I miss the talks we had, the laughs we shared. Not a day goes by I don’t think about her. I know she is in a better place and she is still watching over me. I love and miss you every day granny …….
