Grateful to my neighbors granddaughters (ten and twelve) who occasionally visit my mother. I was surprised when they first started visiting considering my mother is not above yelling at them and their friends to get out of her yard and go play in their own. In spite of that, they were here, speaking in unison, telling my mother they just wanted to say hello and couldnt stay long. Nice to hear my mother quite lucid inquiring about school and asking what theyve been doing to entertain themselves. I could hear the beloved former Sunday School teacher in her voice. The girls answered her in unison as if they had rehearsed what they were going to say before they arrived. Holding on to days like these.
