Gratitude Day 7: I actually wrote this last week but have waited to post and I have purposely left these for the end. Disclaimer tears my flow. :) 1.I am grateful I married into such a great family! The Bellmore clan maybe crazy at times but a family they are, there are too many to name individually but know that I love you all so much. To mom and dad Bellmore Donn Bellmore and Elaine Bellmore ) you have been nothing but support of us since the day we got married, you have given us advice when needed and have gone out of your way to always visit us from Guam to Aviano to Japan. We have taken many trips together and I am grateful we have such a great relationship. To Susan Cantrell and Nikki Hamilton Call, when a brother/cousin marries there is always certain family members he wants the highest approval from, you two were Bill’s. I am grateful for our strong relationship and blessed that we are like sisters. I love you all. 2.I am grateful my brothers, Daniel Carlson and David Lee Carlson. We have been through so much together and apart but this last year has brought us closer than ever. We have such a level of respect for each other and accept each other for who we are. I look forward to growing old with you both. I love you two so much! 3.I am grateful for my aunt, Carolyn Magda. She doesn’t fail to step up in a time of need and help when I call. Words can’t express how much I truly appreciate everything she does! I love you. 4.I am grateful for my dad. We call him the “Ox” because he can survive any illness that god puts in front of him, I am amazed at times of his ability to overcome such obstacles. I joke that he is like a cat with nine lives. You have stood by our mom for the past 20yrs while she battles Parkinson’s and these last 6 months have been hard but you continue to show your dedication and care for mom each day, for that I have the highest respect for you. I love you. 5.I am grateful for my mom, Helen! She became my mom at the age of 8 and I am not sure where I would be without her. I have learned so many things from her through the years. I know that all she wants is for my brothers and me to be happy and successful. These last 6 months have been especially difficult, not only for us, but for her. I am comforted knowing everything is in God’s hands. I love you mom! Thank you David for this challenge, it has helped me to reflect on what is most important in life. I challenge the following people to complete the seven day gratitude challenge. Beverly Bairey Gerard, Alicia Caudle Powers, Valerie Hudson, Michele Steinberg, and Val Sullivan
