Gratitude list August 29 im grateful for a young lady who was brave enough to get away before my mess caused her more harm. I miss her more everyday but it would be worse to live with if she had stayed. Everyday I speak with her. i tell her i love her and miss her. I also tell her how proud I am of her. I owe her so much. she held my family together when I couldnt. she saved my life when i over did it. she saved even my ability to walk by patching my busted ass feet during meth use. i shared with her more than i ever shared with anyone and that saved me more than any non addict will ever understand. she listened but didnt judge. all this is more than i ever thought possible but it didnt end there. she showed me how to love and i will never forget.
