Grazztrio - Caraman Grazztrio - Lluis Gómez - 5 string banjo Oriol Gonzàlez - Mandolin Maribel Rivero - Double Bass From the words grass (a raw diminutive of bluegrass) and jazz. Grazz Trio uses the instruments typical of the first one and the freedom of creation and interpretation of the second. For many years now, some styles classified as traditional have followed this line of evolution in which new technical resources join to the acoustic original sonority. Since the 1970s, North American musicians such as Béla Fleck, David Grisman, Mike Marshall and Tony Rice have extended the traditions of acoustic music. The use of own their compositions and improvisations with harmonies more complex led to what is now known as “new acoustic music.” In 2013 in Barcelona, the grazz trio was formed from the legacy of the new acoustic music. Three musicians with great experience in different styles of traditional music, including bluegrass, folk, irish, manouche, classical music and jazz form this new trio.
