Great....Hats off. Extraordinary Indians: Venkatesh, 19 years, Chennai. Chennais marina beach is the second longest urban beach in the World and one of the most visited. But it is also very dangerous. Each year tens of people drown trying to swim by its strong undercurrents. The numbers could have been worse without Venkatesh. He is said by beach patrol officers to have helped save more than 450 lives till date. Hes a school drop out but works with the beach patrol for no money and says it gives him immense happiness to save peoples lives even if they do not acknowledge and walk away, obviously shaken by their drowning experience we can guess. He is the real hero. He isnt celebritie, He is ordinarily human with extraordinary compassion, and empathy for humanity. God bless him with strength. I think he demands nothing from us but some respect and a little bit recognition.
