Credit to u/whydidijointhis ‘Twas the night before the Super Bowl, And all through the Seattle 12s donned their gear In anticipation for the battle, The Skittles were lined up by the endzone with care In hopes that very soon, Beast Mode would be there, The fans were excited, all snug in their beds While visions of Lombardi trophies danced in their heads, And my brother wore the Chancellor, and I slept in my Percy As we dreamed and prayed for our heroes in New Jersey, The 12s lighting up skyscraper walls all over the media As a beautiful Sherman lined the windows of Expedia, Pete rallied the troops and prepped all the players Ready to shut down the rest of the nay-sayers, Now, Kam! Now, Golden! Now, Red and Mebane! On, Wagner! On, Okung! On Maxwell and Lane! And as the L.O.B. got ready to show Denver who’s boss, The DLine got hyped, jumping around to Rick Ross, We’ve got the best safety in the league E.T. With the strong passion and drive for victory, And receivers who have been called ‘pedestrian’ Are going to stomp all over these equestrians, But one man stays poised, just as he’s always been Our leader, our quarterback, Russell Wilson, He’s fearless, he’s calm, he’s got that smile too He loves the community, he bleeds green and blue, Round 3, pick 75, it must’ve been fate That he will lead us to Super Bowl 48, It’s time.
