Great Spark for the travelers!! Love Leann Hows this for a great Spark! My friends are travelling from CA to AK. Several breakdowns on their way. Heres the latest! No pics today, just a wonderful experience. Arrived in Anchorage abt noon and headed straight for the repair shop to make an appt to have the bent axle replaced. The guy there then sent us over to his friends tire shop for three more new tires. (!!!) The owner was great, chatted with us a bit, commented on our tarp covered window and shared a laugh over our experiences. He was out of the tires we needed (sort of a run on tires up here) but said that he did have three very slightly used tires that would work if we were interested. They were like new, the previous person just wanted something different. We said sure so they put them on. When we went in to pay, the owner charged us for the labor of changing the tires only. When we asked about the charge for the tires the owner said they were his tires and that he could give them away if he wanted and wished us a good day. What an unbelievable kindness! The roads up here may be nasty and the pitfalls many but the people we have met are all very kind and friendly!
