Great Spirit, Almighty Healer and Creator of all things, it is with a humbled heart that we come together as one to offer up many thanks for all you have created. We thank you for the signs and wonders of the Great Mystery that surrounds us, those that guide us as well as those that show us the reality of your existence. We thank you for the many spirits you have awakened during this time of great change. May we put away past division and unite as we should to cure our Earth Mother. We thank you for Grandfather Sun as he rises each morning to bring us warmth and the lighting of our paths. We thank you for the dew that slowly falls from the petals and leaves of the many plants. We thank you for the early morning mist that accompanies the cool gentle breeze as they caress our skin, bringing peace and purification. We thank you for the running waters from the snow-capped mountains that serve to hydrate the bodies of all living things. We ask for forgiveness, we have done much against your creation. We have scarred the soil and rocks with our machines; drilled through the lands and waters; littered the lands with our plastics and waste; polluted the air, land and waters with chemicals; and mined through the rock to look for riches. May we learn that riches and power do not make us, but it is the love and compassion that brings the true meaning of success. We ask for more spirits to awaken and the unification of warriors that will heal our Earth Mother, will spread throughout the four corners. We ask for an end to the hatred, discrimination, racism, lust of wealth and power that keeps us divided. We ask for an end to the addictions that hold us back from being the people we were destined to become. We ask for an end to the violence and abuse of our women and children. We ask instead for peace, understanding and love of all things to be brought into the hearts of those that have remained hard for too long. We ask for a time where all people are truly equal, where no one person is more powerful than the next. We come to a cross road where we must choose to either continue down the path of technology and destruction, or that of returning to healing our Mother and our spirits. We ask for guidance to choose the correct path. We thank you for Grandmother Moon as she watches over us during our slumber. For Father Sky as he continues to protect us from the hazards of space that surrounds us, we thank you. We thank you for the many plants and herbs that give us nourishment and healing. We thank you for our daily food and ask for its blessing. May we look toward a bountiful harvest in order to feed all those in need. We thank you for our Elders as they continue to share the wisdom of the ancestors and the lessons of life during the present. We thank you for our children that will take these and pass them onto their children and build a stronger foundation upon that we have placed before them. Emenv
