Great Spirit, Almighty Healer and Creator of all things, it is with a humbled heart that we unite together to offer up many thanks. We thank you for the precious gift of life. We thank you for our Elders that give us the instruction and the wisdom we need along our path. We thank you for our children that bring us reminders of innocence and lessons lost long ago. We thank you for our relations that may come and go but bring us insight along the way. We thank you for the wisdom you have instilled within our hearts. For the many gifts and blessings you have bestowed upon us, we thank you. We thank you for this period of the awakening of spirits that bring those assimilated to learn more of their culture. We thank you for those that are understanding the ways of the spirit and choose to walk the Red Road. We ask for a greater spiritual awakening during this time of purification. We ask for greater awareness of how precious life is and how it should be allowed to blossom. We ask for an end to the hatred that continues to divide us. We ask for protection, strength and courage as we face those that continue to destroy the environment and the animals that live there. We ask for a time where our weariness of war, greed, lust of power and wealth is replaced with a more peaceful, spiritual life. We ask for protection of the defenseless and the innocent throughout the four corners that are facing hostilities. We ask for greater clarity and the lifting of the veils of secrecy. We ask for hope for the hopeless and more compassion toward those that are struggling to survive. We ask for your healing hands to be placed upon those that are suffering through diverse diseases and disorders. We ask for an era of global revitalization where we are able to replenish the forests and plains; the cleaning of our air and waters; cleanliness of our planetary orbit. We ask for your forgiveness when we stray. We ask for an end to the wanton killing of our brothers the bear, wolf, horse, buffalo, whale and dolphin for trophies or sport. We ask for a time where all people are truly equal, where no one person is greater than the next, so we may be able to unite together as one to reclaim your lands and be better stewards than we have been. We ask for protection, strength and guidance for those that stand against those that selfishly bring further destruction to your creation. We ask for the answer to questions for all that are seeking truth in their heritage and culture during this time. We thank you for the rain forests that provide us with the air to breathe. We thank you for the waters that flow from the mountaintops that hydrate us. We thank you for our daily food and ask for its blessing. We thank you for your spirit that resides in us all. We thank you for the peace and wisdom that can be found in nature, when we are able to take the time to connect. We thank you for family and friends that help us along the way when we are in need. We thank you for Grandfather Sun as he rises each morning and Grandmother Moon as she watches over us during our slumber. We thank you for Father Sky as he protects us throughout the day and night.
