Great Wednesday Morning!!! This Christmas Tree over my shoulder in this picture may be the most beautiful and meaningful sign of hope I have ever seen. :) Every year I host an event for Northside Hospital called the celebration of Lights. My family loves this event more than I can ever explain. Its a way to raise money for and celebrate Cancer survivors. Each year a beautiful Cancer survivor lights the tree on top of the hospital. This year that beautiful person Is Annette Roberts. :) She told me that she worked for Northside for decades and also volunteered at the celebration. She also told me that after batteling cancer twice--there were times when she thought--she would never see this tree light up again. Annette said-- Now, I know better and Ill be here next year to see it light up again. It was one of those moments where I felt time stop and almost buckled from the weight and meaning of her words.
