Great documentary about the Hail Flutie pass, along with such a fitting tribute to the late Steve Trapilo. Im proud to have been a part of that Boston College Football team. I still remember the first time I met Steve Trapilo. I was a 17-year old Freshman who just stepped onto the BC campus for my first football training camp. Walking back to our dorm rooms from training table, Steve (a sophomore at the time) talked to a few of us about college football and gave us pointers about getting acclimated to college life. He was such a humble soul wrapped in a monster-like physical presence - it was hard to believe that he was so genuine. But as time passed by, it became increasingly clear that he was the person whom he portrayed himself to be. A gentle giant, a class act, a leader by example - and on the football field, a man among boys. RIP Steve. Your presence in our lives - as a person and teammate - was appreciated.
