Great news! We are one step closer to a safe haven. President Obama just signed HR301 into law. Basically the bill creates a special envoy in the state department specifically for religious minorities in the Mid East. This means the envoy will open a direct Chanel to engage on Assyrian/Chaldean/Syriac issues including self determination. This is were the hard work starts for us Assyrians in the west to keep lobbying our governments in one united voice demanding the rights of our people.
