Best Producer Kevin Chief (Algonquin) – Honoring The Mazinikijik Singers Best Traditional Recording Honoring The Mazinikijik Singers - Mazinikijik Singers (Algonquin) Best World Music Recording North Wind - Flying Down Thunder & Rise Ashen (Algonquin) Big congrats to my beautiful daughter Amber Asp-Chief for singing on the Mazinikijik Singers round dance album. She gives the ladies a proud and strong voice. Huge congrats to my other beautiful & opera gifted daughter Alicia Asp-chief for singing on the track Listen to the Birds on both the Mazinikijik Singers and Flying Down Thunder & Rise Ashen - North Wind album. Whats beautiful about this song is that I made this song for my daughters and they both sing on the round dance version and electronic dancehall version. As well gotta give some big ups to my bro Robin Antone for joining me on two tracks for the Mazinikijik Singers album. As well a huge congrats to that bad boy Rise Ashen for working with me on the Electronic Dancehall albums. There are no words to express the journey we have been on together.
