Great turnout by the Luverne Chamber members today at the ribbon cutting opening ceremony at Sterlings Cafe this morning. Quick thanks by Brian to the ownership group on-hand for helping him make his dream a reality, he then had his staff and our Mayor join him with the celebratory cut. Still a few things to work out, hopefully by later on today. Just trying to get the people there that need to hook up the lines for draft beer, and to get the lines hooked up for music and TV. Gotta have TVs working for tonights college football championship, or for sure by Saturdays Luverne hockey game versus St. Pauls Governors at 10:00 AM on Hockey Day Minnesota! Great addition to downtown, hopefully helps the entire business atmosphere and brings additional revenue to all businesses in Luverne. More restaurants means more people coming from OUTSIDE of Luverne to eat and hopefully shop and stay.
