Greeting The new Board of the Arizona Association of the Deaf will hold its first meeting on Saturday, January 25th from 8:30 am to noon at the Phoenix Deaf Community Center (PDCC) at 1545 West Osborne Road, Phoenix. CORRECTION: In last email we announced meeting starting at 9:30 AM, it was not correct, it is 8:30 AM. It is open to the public. Meet the new officers and board members! You will have an opportunity to share your thoughts about the future of AzAD and help set forth new directions for 2014 and beyond. Agenda is as follows: Orientation: - Transition of outgoing board to new board: operations and remaining issues Oath of the new AzAD board New Board Meeting: - Call to Order - Reports of Officers and Standing Committees - Brainstorming Session: Future of AzAD -Old and New Business - Announcements With all the information and feedback from the mornings meeting and brainstorming session, the new board will then have a private retreat in the afternoon .
