Greeting to all the Los Batiches! Nick here! I know it has been very quiet in the Los Batichas camp, mainly due to the fact that I havent been back to Cyprus for a while now! :) As of today, one more Los Batichas member has left the country for good. Our friend and beloved vocalist and bassist, Stammy Manolelis has left the island and has joined me in the cold UK. So, I wanted to take this opportunity and wish Stammy all the luck in the world with his new beginning. Taking a step as big as the one he is taking, requires courage and determination, and I want him to know that Mike, Philippos and myself, will support him all the way! Subsequently, this brings me to the other news I have for you today, which is that Los Batichas will cease to be. Losing Stammy is such a huge loss for us that there is absolutely no way we can replace him. And even if we could replace him, I wouldnt do it with anyone else! :) When I started this band last year, I had some kind of a vision for it (was a really cool one too, 3D shit and all!) That vision ceases to be now that Stammy is not around anymore, and it would had ceased to be if Mike or Philippos left the country permanently too. I would like thank Loukia, Mike from Pleymore, Markos, Davey, Giannis, Aly, Pambos and Dimitris, Andros, Roman, Constantinos and everybody else who helped us or shared the stage with us, for being there when we needed them . We are grateful to all of you. I am also very grateful towards YOU, every single one of you who liked this page! Our supporters! Our friends! Our Batiches! Thank you for your HUGE support! We all thank you! This wouldnt had been possible without you guys, who for the past decade have been supporting musicians like Stammy and myself, and have supported your local music scene. Keep doing what you are doing, as there is a lot of talent out there that needs your support! Being a musician in Cyprus is not easy, and all these musicians need you! They need you to be there to cheer for them and let them entertain you. Because after all, that is the reason they are doing this. They are doing this for you! Well, that...and the free beers. :P Lastly, I am taking the liberty to talk on behalf of Philippos and Mike, as I am sure that this is what they would like to say too, and I want to tell Stammy a big THANK YOU! You are the dude! Thanks for all the great times and some unforgettable nights! You know very well which ones! :D Rest re-assured, this is not the last you have heard from each one of us individually!
