Greetings AA Family! Saila has been home with us since Friday. What a blessing it is to have her home already! Her big brother Jaziel is so excited to see her, hold her and kiss her everyday. Im so thankful shes a good sleeper and eater, too! Nurses have been visiting our home checking on Saila. They all say shes doing great. :) This upcoming Monday, April 21, Saila will undergo her first surgery at U Of M CS Motts Childrens Hospital. This surgery is called a PAB. A Pulmonary Artery Banding is a surgical technique to reduce excessive pulmonary blood flow in infants suffering from congenital heart defects. PAB is a palliative operation as it does not correct the problems, but attempts to improve abnormal heart function, relieve symptoms and reduce high pressure in the lungs. Saila will remain in the hospital for about 1 week in NICU, give or take. Please continue to pray for our baby girl. I know God is in control; in Him we trust and pray the surgery will go well and Saila will be strong and healthy. Shes my little warrior princess. :) Blessings to all, The Sanchezs
